Kyokushin Karate |
Kyokushin Karate is a hard style of karate, characterized by its realistic full-contact style of fighting, its emphasis on graceful power in technique and the development of spirit and character.
This style of karate was developed during the early 50's by the founder, Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, 10th Dan. Kyokushin Karate is administered by the International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan which is one of the largest karate organizations in the world with over ten million members worldwide. The Kyokushin headquarters is located in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan.
Guam Kyokushinkai was founded on Guam in 1964 by Shihan Joe Tedtaotao, who was a direct student of Sosai Mas Oyama. After 45 years of serving the island, the organization has remained dedicated to high standards of training and teaching values such as respect, courtesy and non-violence. Our Kyokushin Karate classes are for students 9 years and older.

Our daily 1 hour classes include shadow boxing, pad work, bag work, fighting drills and conditioning. Sparring is available for advanced students.
